INDIANAPOLIS  Harrison College (www.harrison.edu), an Indianapolis based institution of higher learning serving more than 5,000 students in Indiana, Ohio, North Carolina, and Online, announced today that results from the annual National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) indicate that the college is outperforming peer institutions in several key categories. Results revealed that students at Harrison College are especially pleased with the level of support that they receive from staff and faculty at the 110-year-old institution.

 
 
 

Questionnaire takes 10-15 minutes to complete; identifies careers that match user’s interests

The event is open to the public, and admission is free of charge.

INDIANAPOLIS – Harrison College, a private sector college serving 4,500 students at 14 campuses and online, announced today that ten new students have been awarded Working Moms Scholarships in the amount of $2,500each.

The Harrison College Working Moms Scholarship is awarded to women who are working or looking to reenter the workforce, have at least one dependent child, and are enrolling in the college for the first time.  Harrison College first awarded Working MomsScholarships in 2011.

 

Harrison College to offer Criminal Justice program in Columbus

COLUMBUS, INDIANA – Harrison College (www.harrison.edu), a private sector college serving 4,500 students at 14 campuses in Indiana, Ohio, and North Carolina as well as Online, announced today that it will offer a new bachelor’s degree program at its Columbus, Ind. campus this fall through its School of Criminal Justice.

 

Harrison College, a private sector college serving 4,500 students at 14 campuses and online, announced today that Danielle Shockey has been hired to serve as the National Dean of the college’s new School of Education. In this role, Shockey will serve as the primary academic administrator for the school, exercising a leading role in setting its curricular and academic vision and policy. Through the Council of Deans and Curriculum Committee, Shockey has primary responsibility for assuring that the School of Education has highly effective curricula and is seen as a leader in providing contemporary, career-relevant instruction. Shockey will also serve as a primary program spokesperson for the School of Education to all internal and external audiences.
