Jason T. Konesco, president of Harrison College (formerly Indiana Business College), leads the college’s more than 900 employees and oversees its 12 campuses, online division and culinary division (The Chef’s Academy). More than 6,100 students are enrolled.

Jason joined Harrison College in 1999 as director of admissions. He subsequently was promoted to Assistant Executive Director, Corporate Director of Career Services and Business Development, Vice President of Finance and Business Development, and Senior Vice President of Operations for Harrison College.

He co-chairs the Association of Private Sector Colleges and Universities (APSCU) professional development committee and has presented at the APSCU Leadership Institute for four years. He is a board member of the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, serves on the Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation Board of Directors (IndyGo) and is a past board member of the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). He is also active in the Career College Ideas and Exchange Group (CCIEG).

Prior to Harrison, Jason worked for Brightpoint, Inc., in Indianapolis and Philip Morris U.S.A. in Minneapolis. At Brightpoint, he was responsible for training, finance, marketing, forecasting, contract negotiations and developing IT interfaces. He successfully landed the company’s largest customer to date, which resulted in an increase in North American distribution of 90 percent and added $50 million in yearly revenue. At Philip Morris, he managed a sales territory, where he grew all contracted accounts, and worked in marketing, where he managed contracts, promotions and pricing strategies.

Jason earned an MBA in Finance from Butler University and a bachelor’s in marketing from the University of Notre Dame. He earned a scholarship to play hockey at Notre Dame.

Jason and his wife, Jodi, and three children Anabel, Rachel and Joseph, live in the Meridian-Kessler neighborhood of Indianapolis. He is an active member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (serving on the pastoral council), Young Presidents’ Organization, the Notre Dame National Monogram Club, the Notre Dame club of Indianapolis and participates in youth coaching, youth mentoring/tutoring and other volunteer service projects.
