Greetings!
As Provost and Chief Academic Officer, I invite you to take a deeper look at Harrison College to gain a sense of who we are: a student-centered higher education institution built upon a foundation of nearly 110 years of serving students and supporting their aspirations for educational access and new career opportunities.
At Harrison, we understand the decision to pursue a higher learning degree, whether an associates or a bachelors or beyond, can at once be the easiest, and the hardest, decision an individual can make. Each day we serve our students and support their decisions to pursue higher education. This is the foundation of everything we do: from how we develop our curriculum with the assistance of business and community partners, to how we bring instructional excellence and practical experience into our live and virtual classrooms; from a concierge approach to student services in support of day to day success, to lifetime career assistance. Harrison is an educational partner at every step, celebrating every milestone of our students’ transformational successes.
At the core of our student experience is a strong accreditation and regulatory foundation: Harrison College is a Candidate with The Higher Learning Commission and an affiliate of the North Central Association. This candidacy is in addition to the college’s national accreditation through ACICS and various programmatic accreditations, including NLNAC for our nursing program.
Our students, our alumni, our faculty, our employer partners, and our community and civic partners are a testament each day to our mission and to our legacy of academic quality, instructional excellence, and the student experience. On behalf of us all, I thank you for your interest in Harrison College.
Sincerely,
Dr. Dennis A. Trinkle
