Employees of Harrison College are eligible to receive a comprehensive package of benefits to help provide them with financial protection and a foundation of future security. The following benefits become effective for full-time employees after 30-days or first of the month after 30-days (dental and vision) of continuous employment.
Health Insurance
Harrison College provides three group health plan options with Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) benefits. Employees may choose their level of coverage by using PPO or non-PPO doctors and hospitals. We have a comprehensive provider network which makes it easy to find qualified health care and helps employees save money when they or their eligible covered dependents need medical care.
Prescription Drug Program
Harrison offers a money-saving, convenient prescription drug program. Employees can receive great pharmaceutical care and save money by using a network of participating pharmacies or a mail-order service.
Dental Care
Harrison offers voluntary dental benefits with affordable group insurance premiums. With our plan, employees have the flexibility to choose their own dentist, together with the convenience of a payroll deduction and a progressive co-pay program where their benefit increases and co-pay decreases in each of the first three years of coverage.
Vision Care
Harrison offers voluntary vision care benefits with affordable group insurance premiums. This plan offers employees and their families a benefit option that covers all routine eye care, including eye exams and eyeglasses (lenses and frames), or contacts, with the convenience of payroll deduction and reasonable co-pays.
Life Insurance
Harrison provides life insurance coverage equal to 1½ times an employee’s annual salary – at no cost to the employee.
Long-Term Disability
Harrison provides 60% of an employee’s basic monthly earnings (up to $13,000 per month) if the disability keeps an employee out of work longer than 90-days.
