Indianapolis - Northwest Campus
The Indianapolis - Northwest Campus is dedicated to teaching Veterinary Technology and Health Sciences. In addition to receiving excellent classroom teaching, our students also learn during fascinating and relevant field trips. We are also committed to community service and encourage our students to give back to the community through volunteer and fund-raising efforts. Our Veterinary Technology program gives us the unique opportunity to have a student pet adoption program.
The City of Indianapolis
Indianapolis was selected as the state capital in 1821 because of its central location. It is the 12
th
-largest city in the United States and has a population of over 800,000 people. Indianapolis is often referred to as the "Crossroads of America" because it is intersected by more segments of interstate highway than any other metropolitan area. Home to the Indianapolis 500, the Brickyard 400, the Indiana Ice, the Indianapolis Indians, the Indiana Pacers (and Larry Bird), the 2006 Super Bowl Champion Indianapolis Colts, and the largest children's museum in the world, Indianapolis has something for everyone.
