Evansville, IN (May 23, 2016) — Harrison College, a nationally accredited, career-focused higher education institution serving more than 3,000 students worldwide, is hosting a free community health fair with Deaconess on Thursday, May 26, at its Evansville campus at 4601 Theater Drive, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The public is welcome to attend this free health fair that includes more than 30 vendors providing health screenings, chiropractic assessments, blood pressure screenings, derma skin screenings, hearing tests and much more. The Deaconess Mobile Breast Center will be on site providing mammograms with no out-of-pocket costs. Schedule a mammogram by calling 812-450-MAMM or by visiting www.deaconess.com/mobilemammo.
“Harrison College is dedicated to the health of our community through our partnerships with community health systems and our School of Health Sciences,” said Leslie Elkin, dean of the Harrison College Evansville campus. “Some of our health sciences students perform their externships at Deaconess to gain real world experience while also caring for their community.”
Harrison College offers degree programs in business, criminal justice, health sciences and veterinary technology at its Evansville campus.
