Harrison College to Award Degrees to 14 Graduates in Evansville Area

Evansville, IN (April 14, 2016) — Harrison College, a nationally accredited, career-focused higher education institution serving more than 3,000 students worldwide, will honor 14 graduates from its Evansville campus on Friday, April 15. Students will receive degrees in business, health sciences and veterinary technology.

“Earning a degree is no small task and these graduates should be celebrated for the hard work and commitment that went into this accomplishment,” said Heather Walls, campus president of the Harrison College Evansville campus. “I’m confident these graduates will continue to achieve in the local workforce like so many Harrison alumni before them.”

Cheryl Bennett will deliver the keynote speech. Bennett was the director of nursing at Brentwood Meadows in Newburgh, Ind., a health facility caring for individuals with substance abuse and psychiatric disorders. She also is a combat veteran who served a captain in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps and currently holds the rank of lieutenant colonel in the Army Reserves.

Bennett will share her life experiences with graduates as they embark on the next journey of their lives.
