Lafayette, IN — Harrison College, a nationally accredited, career-focused higher education institution serving more than 3,000 students worldwide, will honor 25 graduates from its Lafayette campus on Friday, April 22. Students will receive degrees in business, health sciences and information technology.
“Harrison College is honored to celebrate the accomplishments of these graduates tonight, as they move forward to the next chapter in their lives,” said Cindy Clampitt, campus president of the Harrison College Lafayette campus. “Many of our alumni continue to live and work in the Greater Lafayette region, and I am eager to reconnect with these graduates and alumni again later this year at our new campus building in downtown Lafayette.”
This graduating class will be the last before Harrison moves from its current location on Meijer Court on the city’s east side to the historic Loeb Building at 323 Columbia Street. When Harrison opened in Lafayette in 1905 as Lafayette Business College, it was located just a few buildings down from this new location.
Former Harrison College Director of Alumni Services Amy Barg will be the keynote speaker. Barg is currently a leadership coach, speaker and trainer for the John Maxwell Team, an organization of coaches and trainers that provide seminars and workshops on personal and professional development.
