Your academic, professional and personal success matters. At Harrison College, we do our best to offer you the opportunity to earn scholarships for college that aid in paying for tuition costs and other expenses.

Scholarships are a source of Financial Aid that you do not have to repay. Thousands of scholarships are available to students based on criteria such as need, academics, place of residency or selected major.

American Academy of Chefs (AAC) Scholarships

The Chef’s Academy offers four of these $5,000 scholarships each year, which means you could receive $625 per term. To be eligible, you must:

  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Be selected by a member of the AAC
  • Be approved by a committee at The Chef’s Academy

Harrison College Experienced Student Scholarship

This scholarship is designed for motivated students with prior college experience who are looking to return to school to earn an associate or bachelor’s degree. Harrison will be awarding 15 $1,000 scholarships per quarter, and each award will be divided among the first three semesters.

To be eligible, you must:

  • Have previous college experience and provide proof of this experience
  • Be a returning student who has earned two or more credits
  • Be in good academic and financial standing
  • Enroll in at least six credit hours
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above while attending Harrison

High School Student Scholarship

The Harrison College High School Scholarship is available to high school seniors interested in pursuing their education at Harrison College. You may be qualified for one of four scholarships granted to career-focused and success-driven high school seniors.

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be a senior in high school graduating by June of the current year
  • Be interested in attending Harrison after high school graduation
  • Show academic progress toward graduation
  • Maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA or greater while attending Harrison
  • Complete all necessary entrance enrollment requirements to Harrison

Humphrey Scholarship

This one-time $250 scholarship is in memory of Patrick Humphrey, youngest son of Deborah Humphrey, an employee of Harrison College since 2002 and a supporter of higher education and learning.

ProStart Scholarship

If you participated in the ProStart high school program and competition at the state and national level, you could be eligible for this scholarship. On top of this requirement, you must also:

  • Be an active member of ProStart
  • Win first, second or third place in the state or national competition held by ProStart
  • Show a winning certificate from the competition for verification purposes
  • Be a full-time student at The Chef’s Academy
  • Enroll at The Chef’s Academy no more than one year after high school graduation
  • Attend The Chef’s Academy as your first college out of high school
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0

The scholarship amount depends on available funds and how well you perform in the ProStart competition.

Skills USA Scholarship

Skills USA helps students gain the necessary skills to improve career goals. To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be an active member of Skills USA
  • Win first, second or third place in the state competition held by Skills USA
  • Be enrolled as a full-time student at The Chef’s Academy
  • Be enrolled at The Chef’s Academy within one year of graduating high school
  • Attend The Chef’s Academy as your first college out of high school
  • Show a winning certificate from the competition for verification purposes
