Harrison’s Accounting Bachelor’s Degree program can prepare you for a range of different careers within the financial industry. Salary and employment opportunities differ from position to position throughout the industry.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, you could earn $63,550 per year as an accountant or auditor, and as a bookkeeping, accounting or auditing clerk, you could make $35,170 per year.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics also mentions, “Employment of accountants and auditors is projected to grow 13 percent from 2012 to 2022, about as fast as the average for all occupations. In general, employment growth for accountants and auditors is expected to be closely tied to the health of the overall economy. As the economy grows, these workers will continue to be needed to prepare and examine financial records.”
