Lafayette, Ind. (May 23, 2016) — Harrison College, a nationally accredited, career-focused higher education institution serving more than 3,000 students, recently named Belinda Huesman as director of career services for its Lafayette campus.
Huesman has worked at Harrison since 2015, most recently as an admissions representative, often the first point of contact between Harrison and a prospective student. As career services director, Huesman will work closely with employers and connect students with resources to align their education with career goals after graduation.
“Harrison College provides lifelong career development services to help put graduates on the path to success in their careers,” said Cindy Clampitt, campus president of Harrison College in Lafayette “Belinda’s talent to inspire our students to set goals and achieve them will be a tremendous asset as our students journey toward their degree and career aspirations.”
“I look forward to building solid relationships with our students and empowering them with the tools to fulfill their career goals beyond graduation,” said Huesman.
Before joining Harrison, Huesman worked as a teacher at T.C. Harris Academy in Lafayette and as a staffing consultant for Express Employment Professionals in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Huesman earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Purdue University. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in curriculum and development at Indiana Wesleyan University.
