Moving from job to job, making minimum wage and caring for her children all at the same time became overwhelming for Marjean, but she knew that giving up was not an option. She dreamed of improving her life and the lives of her children, so she decided to continue her education, obtain her degree and pursue a successful career. Looking for a college that would support her from enrollment through graduation, Marjean knew Harrison College was the best option for her.
After earning her associate and bachelor’s degrees in criminal justice at Harrison, she saw her tough situation begin to turn around. Prior to graduation, she was offered a new job, which tripled her salary. Today, Marjean no longer has to worry about the financial constraints of a minimum wage job. In fact, she is even saving money because of her motivation to earn her degree at Harrison.
