Employees of Harrison College are eligible to receive a comprehensive package of benefits to help provide them with financial protection and a foundation of future security. The following benefits become effective for full-time employees on the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
Harrison provides two group health plans with Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) benefits. Employees may choose their level of coverage by using PPO or non-PPO doctors and hospitals. We have a comprehensive provider network, which makes it easy to find qualified health care and helps employees save money when they or their eligible covered dependents need medical care.
Harrison offers a money-saving, convenient prescription drug program. Employees can receive great pharmaceutical care and save money by using a network of participating pharmacies or a mail-order service.
Harrison offers voluntary dental benefits with affordable group insurance premiums. With our plan, employees have the flexibility to choose their own dentist, together with the convenience of a payroll deduction.
Harrison offers vision coverage with no premium cost to the employee. This plan offers employees and their families a benefit option that covers all routine eye care, including eye exams, eyeglasses (lenses and frames) or contacts.
Harrison provides life insurance coverage equal to 1-1/2 times an employee's annual earnings—at no cost to the employee. Employees can purchase supplemental life insurance at competitive group rates.
Harrison provides employees peace of mind with both company-provided short-term and long-term disability benefits.
