Harrison College’s massage therapy courses prepare you to become a therapeutic massage practitioner, working with clients toward general relaxation, stress reduction, pain management, injury recovery, health promotion, education and body awareness. We help you to understand the body and its functions from a holistic level and to master skills such as deep tissue massage, muscular assessment, skeletal assessment, aroma therapy and spa techniques.

The Clinical Massage Therapy Certificate program combines 750 hours of personal classroom instruction with a professional externship at the Harrison College Training Spa, chiropractic office or physical therapy or rehab facility.

About Therapeutic Massage

As a therapeutic massage practitioner, you will not just rub out the kinks in someone’s sore back. You will be taught how to understand the body and its functions from a holistic level and master a variety of skills such as deep tissue massages, muscular assessments, skeletal assessments, aroma therapy, spa techniques and more.
