Our culinary arts courses are led by experienced instructors and designed to help you learn fundamental techniques in a range of cooking styles. Best of all, kitchen courses meet 40 times in a 10-week period, which means you’ll be able to apply what you learn in our commercial-grade kitchen.

As part of our Associate of Applied Science Degree program, you can apply industry-standard culinary techniques and learn the basics of food service purchasing, nutrition and food safety principles. You’ll receive intensive training in classical cuisines and the fundamentals of meat and poultry cookery — perfect for those looking for in-depth training with an eye toward a career in food service production or management.

In addition to in-class learning, you’ll gain professional experience through externships before you graduate. You’ll even have the opportunity to practice your skills while helping charitable organizations at special events that benefit your community.
